i had a quick look around and couldnt find anything
how do you remove the cover plate at the top of the dash where the f6/gt twin pod goes

I just stuck a scew driver in the back of it and lifted it abit then just ripped it off with my hand. Takes 5sec

apparently a credit card is quite good as if is less harsh on the dash than a screw driver.

yeah flat blade screwdriver or a spatula like tool, lift up from the corner closest to the windscreen
It will then pop off
