Hi everyone

i am wondering since we are in the age of computer and ECU in modern day car if you change the speedo Cluster does the Kms stay with the car or change to what is on the new cluster, if it stay with the car can you change the Kms?

Any help would be great

The odo /km readings are stored in the cluster
so if u change the cluster u also change the km reading

i have heard u can change the actual chip or what it is called over but it is risky

Search using the term "eprom" - you'll find what you're after.
Also look at the instruments doco for info on changing the eprom.
