G'day.

I have a green colour scheme happening in my car, and I would like to change all the orangey colours in the cluster, AC panel, etc, etc, to green.

Does anyone know a good place that does it, or how I can do it myself?

By the way, I am located in Ballarat so if anyone knew anywhere in Melbourne, that'd be great.

Look foward to some help!

First you have to take the cluster out - on the back of it, there will be a heap of those twist off bulb thingos, all you have to do is replace the old ones with your new ones (i.e. green ones). Alternatively you can invest in some hobby paint and paint the globes (if you think that's a stupid idea, you would actually be surprised at how effective it is if done properly).

Also, don't bother with those bulb covers or whatever they're called, they don't work properly.

I'm going to use something like this:

Unfortunatly, I don't think they make them in green - then again, you can have a shot at doing them yourself, they're only leds mounted in a wedge bulb (the type in the cluster) but I'm lazy lol.

But isn't the actual stencil orange? Like, I don't think it's just clear, it seems to have an orange tinge to it. I might be wrong, but if that was the case, wouldn't the colour mixing between the orange and the green make a s**t colour?

In that case, does anyone have any idea how to go about changing that?

There are some people who will do it for you (http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=40368), or later on in that thread is a link to the files which you can load into photoshop and play with yourself. (If you can't find the files, I have them, just ask.)

Didn't realise the plastic stuff was tinted orange - I tested it out the other week with a blue globe I have and it looked fine, I swear it's clear. I have an EB Falcon GLi, don't know if it's different for those models.

EDIT: Oh wait, I think you are talking about the actual markings themselves. In that case yeah, they are orange lol. It still looked fine, but yeah I also would prefer them white.
