I personally wouldnt paint the dash as the aussie elements seem to deteriorate the finish over time, which ends up looking s**t, well happened to my old car anyway.

For interior mods, well as mentioned b4, coloured leds will give it a nice look, custom floor mats, plush sheepskin covers would look nicer than "Ford Performance Racing" tacky jobs imo, custom dials, yes you cant forget fluffy dice as mentioned b4 also, Custom coloured plush carpets from "TrueFit" are cheap and would look nice.

spray paint the car saying "i am a fuking nut"... now that will really stand out

or if you want to get real serious you can even tie some colourful baloons to the antenna of the car(helium baloons ofcorse)

you can get canaried for any little problem that makes your car in an unroad worthy condition, these include aftermarket parts or even modified instruments.

that still doesnt answer my question... what is the reason for defecting someone for painted brakes?? why does it make the car unroadworthy??
