This is for my EF, but i assume the EL's arent much different...

Just the front of the dash comes off, 1 piece from the steering wheel to the stereo surround.

Open ash tray and take out 1 or 2 screws. Remove stereo surround and undo the screws behind that. Theres a couple of screws beside, under the steering wheel. 4 screws i think above the cluster. Drop the steering wheel by releasing the fastener under it. Front of the dash should pull off and unclip any connections going to the boot release buttons etc. (remember where they go)

Undo 4 screws in the corners of the cluster and pull it out and unclip the 2 connectors. Once you know how to do it, takes about 10 minutes after that. Very easy

Process for EL is pretty much identical, great decription!

It really is quite easy, and takes 5-10 minutes max.

There is a press in retainer behind on the RHS of the stereo surround - just needs a little more force - not too much though.

Should pull out and swing upwards.

You'll need to pull the ciggie lighter plug, and remove the lighting as well.

Meh, not really lol - it was easy to remove. I actually dropped it when was just about to go put it back in, I set it down on something, but it tipped off the edge.

I put it back in without the glass cover, looks kinda cool without it but rattles a little bit now lol :(
