Ok guys thought i would show you my seats and some other parts before i put them in my car, which im still waiting for but shouldnt be to much longer

I had the stock electric LTD seats retrimmed in black because i am going with a black/gold/chrome theme with my interior.

All plastic parts are sprayed apart from 5 small pieces like glove box handle, 2 air vents and rear passenger reading lights or what ever they call them
i also have the dash to do, which is still in the car. 1 question, should i dye the dash and door trims myself or should i get them retrimmed in black vinyl so that they last longer :?:

I have noticed that if you do scratch them with something, even running your nail along them, they will leave a faint mark but not much you can do seeing as they are black and even if the plastic was black marks would still show
i noticed if they have a couple of gloss coats the scratches dont show but i didnt want the shiny look, i went for the matt black look so that it looked like a normal black plastic interior

my cluster and radio surround were already sprayed by the previous owner so that part saved me from any hassles :P

got the chrome door handles off a friend, which as most people on here know are hard to come by and also the LTD dome light, which i think looks a lot better than the normal fairmont dome lights

sorry about some of the pictures, they were taken with my phone because my parents went to USA with 1 digital camera and my bro went to Europe with the other digital camera lol

Them seats look awesome. Do you mind if I ask how much the seats cost to get done?

i get asked this so much but i cant really say

everything in the pics that has been upholstered all under $4k (cant say how far under $4k though)

Price included retrim of all the parts, new sponges for front seats and also spraying all the plastic parts on the seats from cappa to black

It all looks sweet as!!! I would love to do that to my interior only with blue, grey and silver.

Can't wait to see it all together and one day in the flesh (I'll bring my own tissues ;) )

roof lining is done, had the spray painter organise that while my sunroof was out (i dont think i will ever buy a car withou a sunroof now lol)
pillars already done too
everything will be black
my bro was sayin maybe to keep the pillars and roof lining cappa, but i thought ill go all black, i thought might give it a more old skool and sportier feel inside

you can bring tissues if you want but i never got a stain in there before the retrim and i dont intend on getting any after lol

if my car is ready by Oct 28 for the drags in Vic, or what ever date they are, i'll prob drive it down, meet at ring road maccas seeing as its only 10 mins out from my place

it really helped knowing how to use photoshop because i created the interior before i started work on it

here is the original pic thanks to Daniels FBT interior shot:
