G'day. I'm just wondering if the black ED climate control units will work in an EA vehicle.

I like the black ones better, but I've noticed differences in the display, so I'm not sure if it'l work properly.

cheers Luke

your better off getting one out of an EB2, they are also black but they don't have the CFC Free message written on them. Plus they are plug and play

Kyle's right. The EBII unit has the black buttons and plugs straight in. The ED one looks identical to the EBII one except it says "CFC free" on it. It doesn't work in EA without a lot of mucking around. The EBII, as well as the nicer buttons does have a far better display. It's also best to change the trip computer and demister switch to match.

It's amazing how much classier the black buttons look
