i picked this up off ebay.. $21.50.. and i picked it up an hour ago so no postage costs.. -cappa P Window switches..

is a lil dirty but all i wanted it for was the switches that work and that the switches are "EL CAPPA coloured"... to get rid of my cheap looking Ef black buttons.. :wink:

yeah sounds cheap enough. i paid 50 bucks for mine, but the buttons (drivers aside) are mint, all the text hasnt been rubbed off yet.

is your interior cappa? brown buttons in a grey interior could look....erm...interesting.

yes, my interior is cappa... :wink: lol about the cappa buttons in a grey interior.. :lol: .... i dont realy mind about rubbed out letters.. i just see it as a cheap upgrade of the POV black EF switches.. :lol:

Lol, how are the black EF buttons pov? More modern than the EL ones when not against a grey background. Who puts grey buttons in car interiors nowadays? Exactly my son.

i like the ef buttons, so much so i sprayed my interior black to suit them :)

so the letters dont look so wierd just scratch whats left of them off.

You didn't do too bad - the fairmont door trims they also had were cheap, went for $6 for all 4.
You can refurbish the buttons: http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34631.
Just so you know as well, the EA-ED power window 4 switch setup is pretty much the same as the EF/EL ones, except for the plastic rockers and the plastic cover facia, and the rear enable/disable button. The rear enable/disable button can be changed between assemblies though.

A bargain - I sold Mash my buttons for $50 and my old switches for $15.50 on ebay, just switches, no cup holder or surround.

well is installed now... looks soooo much better... those black buttons in a cappa interior stands out like "Dogs balls".. :lol: ... now colour coded cappa buttons.. :D Just need cappa coloured seat belts now... :wink:

you might need to specify whether its for the four switches or the surround that only holds two.. :wink:
