dude get some wedge globes no soldering required its very easy.

Yeah but the wedge globes don't look as good or last as long! Also i wanted one for my clock made up because apparently you cant use the wedge ones.

if you have an e-series you dont change the globes you change the filter paper/plastic to a different color.

Iv done it to my dash (au2) not to hard once you get the hang of it though it can take a while. I could do it but im fairly lazy :? depends on how much you wanna pay :wink:

where do you get the wedge globes from in sydney, as i am having some trouble with some of my leds

u should be able to get the narva ones orded through repco, not sure on how they go for brightness but they are replacement globes and holders.

Yeah the narva wedge globes you should be able to get through repco,autopro and ingrams

I've already tried this i put 6 layers of blue plastic in there and it didnt come through blue at all, it was more of a teal colour that you could bearly even see!

stixnik how much do you think its worth you tell me i got no idea :?

Though you would have to supply the leds/resistors/bulb holders.

I used the Narva blue leds in the clock and cluster with a white piece of paper as a filter ...also sanded the orange off the needles and painted them white
looks tops at night but a little dull (but still readable)in day light

I had to file the top of the LED flat to make the light spreed out enough tho

Yeah well i also want one for behind the rear demister switch. I made one for it but it didnt fit in their properly. Once i got it to fit it then wouldnt work so i want someone else to do it for me.
