Fibre is great in a car environment because it's electrically noisy. Fibre is impervious to interference.

Yeah serious competition units like the P80 P90 P9 from Pioneer, Clarion HX-D2, Alpines F#1 Status range (and their top end regular gear e.g. the 9887) are great units.

For those who want a deck with heaps of features AND great SQ, can go for an external processor like the Audison BitOne.
