Another picture.

Image

Pulling out the climate control unit and painting that tonight. I was unsure about it when i did the rest of the dash but now i know its a sticker. So im going to fix that up.

I also need to paint the shifter surround and hopefully it looks alot cleaner then.

I run a bit of armorall over it and it looks tones better.

Paint the dash face (the surround for the dials, trip computer and so on white. Then do the top of the dash and tops of the doors in satin black. Bottom of the doors in white and so on,...if u were in SA i would help ya.

I havnt had any problems with marks. I was scratching out the buttons for the trip computer and i keyed the face of the trip computer but you can hardly see a mark. I also find that the stereo things rub the dash hard when u put the stereo in and it was fine after that.

Im going to get another carpet and leave it in a bucket of black dye.

For better results try www.knoxautocarpets.com.au
For $165, I got a brand new, black plush pile moulded carpet, including postage.
The black would never wear off 8-)
I have painted my dash, and my trims black, but am not using any dye on the high wear areas (ie the carpet and the seats)
I will be getting the seats retrimmed in black leather (at the moment they are cappa leather)

Just a thought

are the carpets you got from there a one piece? A lot i see are actually a front half and a back half that have to be applied over each other... How was the fit?
