Thiat's what I thought. I didnt want to do everything black. That would look too plain IMO. I would like to see pics of an all black interior.

Here is some pics of mine at the moment. I didnt want to make it all black, so I have put in some silver for some contrast

Hmmm, I agree that just black is a bit too plain, but I don't want the grey/cappa with black. It's my mission to get rid of allll the grey in my interior, lol.

Stomper you going to do the auto gear surround thing?

I was planning on tring to make a leather gear boot for that. I want to paint it black too.

I just hate the grey that is standard.

Well i did some testing today seeing as i had some time.

I pulled the door trim off and gave it a spray.

looks like this...

I dont know how i am going to do the door handle. I think the paint will be alright on there seeing as its been fine on my gear shifter for a week and i only put one coat on. It seems there is a pin that expans in the hole there.

I plan on fitting power windows as soon as the funds come in so ill d**k off these gay door trims.

Just everying else to paint black :):)

OHHH camera quality is piss poor because i didnt realise it was on a s**t setting.

Is that a EL GLi with wood grain? I thinki this because you dont have climate control, there are 4 guages/tacho's not 6, you dont appear to have the power antenna height switch and you have maunal windows not power.

How easy was it to put the good grain on the doors? As easy as the fabric trims?

One suggestion is to paint the boss surround on the wheel and the column housing. Thats whats letting the effect down.

What paint did you use?
