rig up a plastic door pressure switch, that way it will come on when you open it.

it does, the hinge sits on that red switch, as soon as you open the console lid the switch pops up and the light turns on

Great Job!
I would just add that if anybody was to do this then I would suggest only having the light come on when your lights are on etc as I would think having the light come on during the day would be a waste unless inside a garage etc. Anyway again..nice work there. |

thats awsome, im so gunna do that now, but instead mine will be a green LED as i have green neons and lights around my interior lol

yeah i was gonna do that too, hadnt been motivated enough yet, but a very good idea hey, its a wonder why it wouldnt come out stock with a light in there.
