Did some interior modifications to my EF XR6 over the last couple of weekends.

Last weekend I fitted a new Momo steering wheel and this weekend I fitted white dials to the instument cluster.
While I had the dash apart I also fitted footwell and rear of console courtesy lights .... looks a little better now I think :)

Cheers,

Alan.

Grey was my first choice too .... unfortunately when it came time to buy there was only one grey left and it had doubled in price ..... so the blue was the only alternative.

Luckily I have a bit of blue in the apholstery so it's not too bad if you look at the complete interior.

you go onto eBay.com.au and but the cluster dial backing for $70.00. you can choose what colour backing, what colour, lighting and what logo you want.

C'mon Sierra get rid of the spanner on the dash.
Hold down the trip reset button for 15 seconds while the keys are in the on position.

Awesome looking dash and I love the steering wheel too. I've got one which I havent fitted to my EF XR6 yet.

The lights on the dash look tops. Best yet.

So the dash isnt a LED mod - its just a $70.00 cover from ebay - that lights up blue and red?

That looks really good, i want to do the same except i have an EF with the white needles. Do you know if i can maybe paint the back of my needle with that orange or would i need to source a 2nd hand cluster. also
when u put the needles back on the face, how do you line them up correctly so your speedo, tacho etc read correctly. is there an indent so they line up ?
