Give these a try - the quality isn't too crash hot (the grey came out a bit darker), you might be able to do something with them. You can just make out the seat belt warning and low captions.

i did say, leds wont light it up and good luck lighting it up :p

so ill say it again

leds wont light it up, good luck lighting it up unless you get some decent brightness behind it using normal bulbs or el glow paper... :P

the incriments need to be black ontop which infact would only be a blcak tint instead of colour so they can light thru :P

looks good :P

i so shoul dfinish mine but i cant be assed. maybe onnneee day

No probs Ryan - top marks to yourself, data_mine & co for trying something a little different. The dials are out of my other cluster, so if you need rescans, just sing out.

Use the EF ones I've already cleaned up. You get the benefit of more detailed dials. 100rpm vs. 250rpm, and 5km/h vs 10km/h. Plus they fit just the same as the EL ones (I've got an EL, and used those EF dial templates).

After some time now, I'm very happy with the result - daytime they're head turners, at night (now with regular bulbs back in, til I can be a*** to fix up the LEDs) it's superb.

Lessons learnt.
- Print colour one one side, black mask on other side, don't use two sheets - too dim.
- Make sure you get Canon approved transparencies to run through your works very expensive colour copier/printer. Others (supposedly 'laser safe') melt around the fuse drums.
- LEDs stock suck. Need to lightly sand the lens so they diffuse, and use a slightly less resistive resistor to increase brightness.

Repco $17. If they don't stock 'em they hit you for shipping to. for me it was $12 :( So $29 all up. I tried autobarn, and they wanted $10 for a 2 pack!
