YES, i used a 100mm high tensile bolt. Make sure it is a high tensile, otherwise it could break due to the different height.

Glad it helped. Thats what this site is all about. :)

Yep, any nut and bolt supplier should have something there I just used 11cm long hardened bolts I think the thread size was 11mm or something they should be able to match it... match the bit at the head of the bolt as the bolts are tapered.

EDIT: what pimp said :p

love the work PIMP_LTD, just one question: legal? dont get me wrong, not too worried about car being roadworthy, but to best of my knowledge, any seat mods have to be engineered, could be a problem if someone is looking at doing this mod to an unregistered car.

Thanks guys, i try. :)

Anyway, no it won't be legal, but i've never heard of anyone being pulled over, with the cops asking if the seats are legal. They are to concerned about all the lancers with race seats.

If you looked at my car, you'd not even notice they are different.

Yes if you did it to an unreg car, you may have roady problems, unless you know a guy. ;D

When I got my car roadworthied, I had already done the seats (as the old EB seats had a tear in them which was unroadworthy) the roadworthy guy didn't bat an eyelid.
