I have a 1990 fairmont ghia. For some reason i have no demist at all. when i press the button to turn it to demist on the climate control unit, the light under it lights up, as to say it is activated. I have down the self test and come up with no errors. Any ideas anyone?

i can tell its not working by when i press the demist button air keeps coming out of the vents on the dash. nothing comes out of the vents under the windscreen. i have left it running for 10 + mins and still it just blows from the dash vents and the vents in the back seat on the centre console. yes the window stays foggy and no there seems to be no air flow change at all when i press the demist button. It just keeps flowing as normal from the dash vents. really have no idea why not.

Cheers

sounds like either a vac leak or the little motor that changes the air direction is stuffed. Whats it called??!! :?
