This will work...

Sand it back >>WET<< with some 2000 grit sandpaper. Then polish the f**k out of it, it will come up as new.

does the cluster surround look that white in person? does it bother you whilst your driving?

Next thing you know you wil paint all of the insets of your dash too.... Just gives it a personal touch!

could you give me a run down of how to pull it apart etc?

you'll need to remove the ash tray, stereo surround, dash facia and unplug all the buttons/clock/trip comp to get to it. there are 4 screws holding it in, one on each corner. and two plugs on the bottom either side.

once you've got the cluster out of the dash, its jsut a matter of undoing 2 screws and a couple of tabs
