You should have gone with a more muted blue not the dark metallic.

painted dashes look horridly out of place unless you go for a full custom interior. I say paint the whole interior black and then put blue highlights on!

it looks ok man i think you just need to have an overall 2 tone colour scheme in there, eg all carpet is done in that velvet and everything else blue sorta thing.

and for the guages they look a bit crowded but i know how hard it is to find places to put them myself.

whoever said they need to go back to a vl, wtf man they r guages...

so far, no....passed the pits with the tacho in the same spot....altough it was a country licensing agent.....the gauges should be ok coz theyre behind the pillar....the tacho is the only problem i can see coz it obstructs the view ..well not literally but it sits in front of the corner of the window...

Crushed velvet went out with panel vans, in the 80's (yes, I was there), and I realy hope it ain't coming back!
Repaint the blue stuff with satin black, not gloss, and replace the crushed velvet with something like your door trims.

Man that crushed velvet looks like wrecked, scratched and faded plastic panels in those pics, don't like it. Don't like the blue either. IMO.
