I'm i the same boat mate, a have the cappacino, and my armrests are faded. I'm thinking i might just get them professionally re-dyed by a auto trimmer.

I have tried several times, back when I had my EF - It had the cappa interior. I failed :( I could not even find anything close. Even some of the items that the colour of the car looked almost identical looked totally different once I sprayed the trim and let it dry.
In the end, I just painted the entire trims (and the dash) black/silver
That being said, I probably went over the top - but I liked it. With my EL (which has the grey interior), all I did was paint the armrest and the top piece black.

Nobody will see a dodgy colour match 8-)

Yep, i have the same problem, my armrests have a slight green tinge to them haha, i was thinking of getting them wrapped in leather somehow, the same way a steering wheel is recovered.

not sure how leather wrapping them would go with the little plugs that hide the retaining screws... interesting if it could be done though.

That was exactly my thought too, i've been thinking about it for a while now, but have no idea how to make the screw plugs look good.

I have also been thinking about doing that, as i have a little trimming experience, but yeah my problem is how to get around the screw holes. Maybe there is some kind of product that will mount in there, and it simply clips to the door. It'd have to be strong though, otherwise after a while it'd probably pull off the door.

Will look more into that, i have some cappa coloured suede that'd look grea.t

Have you guys tried KIWI Leather Dye for Shoes?
There's a Tan available which may be suitable for the Mocha colour, failing that you could cut it with the KIWI White Dye, these come in a placky bottle with an applicator sponge on the end.

You'll probably have to look for it at a good Haberdashery-Craft store not the big super chain WallyMarts for Cargo Culture Dummies that passes for "variety" stores these days.

Not just a pretty face, is I.

LOL,

But that is a good idea, i never thought of that. Only query i have with the kiwi stuff is, will is stay tacky/wetish? I can't remember if it drys or not. It'd be a shame to get shoe polish on my favourite shirt. :D

Nah, it dries, you're thinking of Polish, this is Dye specifically made for changing the colour of shoes.
