I am currently getting a full retrim on my EL and i am going to paint some bits and pieces like door cards, centre console etc etc while the seats are getting done. What is the best brands of interior paints and how do i go about prepping before spraying??

i used metallic grey body paint on my shift suround stereo facia and cluster surround and clear coated it.
i used metho to cleen the surface gave it a light sand all over and used normal undercoat first then 2 coats of paint +clear coat
as long as the plastic is extreemly clean it will work good.
its been 2 years and the paint is still good

its chrome well so it says $2.99 cheap export paint with plastic primer i actually gotta re do it as the surrounding plastic parts that surrounds my dvd player is broken and its just holding togeather

i did mine a few years ago and to this day it looks like it was done last weekend .
What i did was rub the grain finish off and plastic primed , high-filled it ( sprayputty) let it sit around for a few months ( was lazy ) then rubb'd it back and painted in 2K basecoat and Clear'd it . Some guys here have seen what i did .

i took the cheap option lol i know it wont last long but when i get the new surrounding plastic bits i will be doing it properly was i was just lazy and done it the cheap way
