What would be cheaper (and easier) - hunting around for a leather covered centre console or getting one covered from scratch? I've only come across one or two - and they were in pretty s*^t condition. Will

while your at the trimmers getting quotes on your seats you could ask them about doing the comsole aswell , may get it cheaper if they do it all at once too

are you talking about the console lid?
Or the whole console? The centre console for EB-ED ghia's is not wrapped in leather & if you want a leather console lid go to the WREAKERS & get a EF-EL console lid from a FAIRMONT. You have to use the bracket from the EB-ED lid for the EF-EL lid. My self & ReGIE have done the mod & I like it as when you are driving either model you will be sitting the same hieght thats if you lean on yours.

lol my centre console is wrapped in leather , but you get that when u buy a LTD

Ben_Daui, correct, the Ghia console isnt wrapped in leather, but the EB GT/DC LTD consoles are

Hi All,
Nope, not talking about the lid - but I know that they are still available from Ford, if I need one. Was quoted $80 to get a console trimmed in leather..... I think I'll just get my console convered. Will
