My old seats were looking a bit shabby so i rang the wrecker they wanted $350 for standard and they didn't know if they could match them to the arm rests on the doors $500 for XR and $650 for Fairmont. I picked these up for $300 a bit of modifieing eazy tho done in a afternoon, I have gained head room and leg room wich is good beacause im 6'3" and thay make the old ones feel like half full bean bags thorght it might give some of you guys some ideas.

cheers for the comments we just cut the feet off both the Ford and Skyline seats and wealded the Ford feet onto the Skyline rails, the rails of both sets of seats were the same width apart and bolt into the stock holes.
Its not that good a match but worth it for the comfort and extra space i just have to re upolster the arm rests and i was thinking of doing some painting dash and doors and stuff put a bit more black into it, then it will match properly

Have you ever sat on EF/L XR seats? Any idea how they compare? Look fairly similair. Perhaps a bit more bolstered.
I really like, and it's good how you gained room - a problem I've been having with my EL XR drivers seat since fitting (it seems bigger or doesn't go as far back as the old GLi seat). |

allmost done painting I ended up doing eaverything, and thats gunmetal grey the flash on the camera brings up the metalic makes it look silver, oh my ute is gunmetal grey so the inside matches the body im verry happy with how it came up lot better then the original grey just have to save up for a black steering wheel and finish the last bits
