Not sure if this is the right forum to post in so sorry in advance.

I have an EF xr6 that has a intermittent problem with its indicators, they work sometimes then just stop all while the indicator lever is still in position, i just checked and it also plays up when turning the hazard lights on, though they seem to blink fine when locking and unlocking the car with the remote so im at a total loss as to what it could be.

Any ideas guys would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If the hazards also play up then it's most likely the flasher unit (described above as a "solenoid") and is breaking down under continuous use.
The flasher unit is located in the fuse box inside the car. Pop open the cover and you will see a group of 4 little boxes, it's the upper left one - just pull to remove.

Most minor faults are pretty easy to fix if you know what you are looking for. Saved you some cash purely by asking the question.
