i chopped one off a door and i still cant figure ou how to get that rubber bit out.
i think it has something to do with countersunk metal rods holding it together
glass dudes have a special long razor blade haaandle thing they use for the silicone shight
if you use a normal blade make sure you wear some serious PPE

Use very fine piano wire to cut the urethane. Lots of care.

guitar string? fishing line? could you heat up the silicone with a heat gun and just push it out??

Nope - Piano Wire. I tried most of the rest.

Its Urethane - nothing like Silicon to remove. Wear Gloves, and be real carefull.

May help to also use a heat gun on it, but then you'll get your tinting.

Have you thought that maybee its easier to just tint your Quarter windows? - Seriously for the cost. Tint = $20 at most auto shops, or im sure an tint place will sell you the metre or so it will take.

On this whole window topic. THe rubberish seals around the windows that you guys have talked about removing.......How easy it that to do? and more importantly how easy is it to get back on?! Also does this apply to all the rubber seals around the side windows?

THanks
