Hey crew,

I'm looking at getting a rear venetian for my Fairmont. Now, metal ventetians are available on e-bay but i can only find ones to suit EA-ED. Being that the EA-EL structure is similar in a lot of ways, i'm wondering if EA-ED rear windows have the same curvature and shape as the EF-EL models.

Can anyone confirm if this?

Not sure but I can measure up the window of the EB for ya tomorrow if you want?

Stringline blu tack'd at each end, stick it bot top corners of the screen, grab a ruler and measure distance from string to glass at the centrepoint and halfway between each corner & centrepoint.
Repeat process at halfway down screen and at the bottom corners, then compare the numbers and see if they match.

Probably easier to ring either ford or windscreen joint though ;)

I'm thinking at the moment, and looking at the interior trim that goes on the inside of the rear window, plus the fact that the parcel shelf carpet is interchangable between EA-ED and EF-EL that the rear windows 'should' *grits teeth, squints eyes* be the same.....

EA through to EL wagon rear windows should be exactly the same, seing as the shape of the rear end didn't change from 1988 right up to 1998.
