Have been having problems with my A/C being stuck on fresh air for the past few weeks.

Jumped under the glovebox last night to have a look around and noticed a white curvy door is just moving around freely. I put the a/c on, tried changing between recirc and fresh and the door didn't move.

Left the door in the top position and now I finally have a/c that is cold and there is no air coming into the car when the a/c is off. But it falls down when I go over bumps, giving me the same problem.

I tried to take the plastic surround off that us behind the glove box. Its 4 screws and a few clips. But it does not want to come off. Couldnt get it off to have a look at this vent door, so I just wedged a piece of carboard behind the vent door keeping it in the up position to I can get recirc air.

The buttons for the recirc/fresh on the climate control have no effect. When I press either of them I can hear a few noises, but nothing happens.

I think the problem is the vent door, not anything electrical behind the CC cluster.

Any ideas to what it is? Is the door controled electrically or vacuum? or what...
