Hi guys, just bought myself a perefect nick nc fairlane high series centre console. just finished cleaning it up and must say it looks like new. not bad for $10. anyway, because it was already out of car when i bought it, just wondering how do i take the console off? i can see there are two screws in the actual bin, and two small ones at the bottom rear, but what about front.

Cheers

Remember to wire up the rear courtesy light - just plugs in the same plug as original console. It an NC console, do you have the blank panel for the power window buttons (as power windows are absent on your car?)

on a high series NC you should also have the factory stereo add on unit, which allows control of the complete stereo (apart from insertion of a cassette) from the rear seats, it site in the blank panel in the back of the console. i have a pic somewhere

just found some pics, not the cleaerest so i do ask you look past that, but it shows the part im talking about, i didnt know they existed untill i bought the car with it in it

Image

as you can see, it has dual headphone sockets, volume control, FF/REV, << seek >>, and i think presets.

when i find it in my room again ill take some more detaild pics (as my camera's batteries die the quality goes down)

unfortunatley these units ONLY work with the factory NC FAIRLANE stereo's factory fitted with this item (which i dont have :( )
