was looking at putting the smartlock system from my EL into my EB so i can run the EL computer and bbm and all that stuff .i know i need the ignition but thats all i know do they have there own module for smartlock and what else would i need from the EL.

smartlock is a part of the BCM. If your doing a EL dash conversion, you will need a EL BCM anyway...

When your sitting in the drivers seat, the module is behind the curved plastic panel above your right knee

I have bypass modules that enable the ecu without having to fit the smartlock module / BEM from the EL if your interested. It would probably be a lot easier that trying to transplant it all into the EB |
