was looking at putting the smartlock system from my EL into my EB so i can run the EL computer and bbm and all that stuff .i know i need the ignition but thats all i know do they have there own module for smartlock and what else would i need from the EL.

smartlock is a part of the BCM. If your doing a EL dash conversion, you will need a EL BCM anyway...

i got a whole EL to rip apart where is the module on the ELs

When your sitting in the drivers seat, the module is behind the curved plastic panel above your right knee

I have bypass modules that enable the ecu without having to fit the smartlock module / BEM from the EL if your interested. It would probably be a lot easier that trying to transplant it all into the EB
