Ok heres my problem. my car wont start and i dont have interior lights. I have checked CRT LP and replaced it. still no good. have checked all other fuses. they are fine.
the smartlock jewel light on the dash wont light up at all in off position or acc or "on'. the car cranks and i have fuel but wont turn over. any help is appreciated. cheers Woody. |

check engine bay fuses?
check the ignition barrel.

checked engine bay fuses (next to battery) teh are all ok.
What exactly am i looking for on the barrell? I have the cover off atm. Ill give a bit more info. I recently did the dual airbag dash conversion. I put the dash back in all ok and moved the car (started and drove) last night. I didnt dissconnect the battery after i moved it. came home from work this arvo and it wouldnt fire. |

no spark, i started from scratch (air, fuel, spark) got 2 outa 3.

i've had this problem b4...
A) Check ur battery isn't dead. B) i found the problem in min 2 b a lose wire shorting out under the dash...was a PR**K of a thing 2 do, the whole dash had 2 come out.

hmm im afraid of wires under the dash being my problem. Is it worth getting another BEM incase this one is dead?
Also update. I have no interior lights but i have stereo. |

not always...
but yes. check plug connections, lose plug? um.... just trying 2 run it through my head again as i went through this same process about 3weeks ago....

have u replaced the bem?
if so yur smart lock system needs to relearn. 1.ignition off 2. switch 2 acc, within 5sec's press r. demist switch 3times. 3.smart lock should indicate in "learnt" mode 4. repeat process 4 ur keypad. wen finished swich of car and that should b it...smart lock should b operational.

havent pulled the bem out or changed it. smartlock button on dash is unresponsive also.
ive tried the keyfob relearn. also tried the BEM code relearn (reds for hour then crank) none helped. |

all i can sujest now is replace the bem n go from there...
