can a AU remote be programmed to an EF GLi?

or is the EF smartlock bem incompatible with the AU smartshield remotes?

Smartlock and Smartshield are different,

However i think you can use AU series 1 remotes, but don't quote me on that.

Hope this helps,

Andrew.

EBII to AU Pre-SmartSheild all the same item...

depends on either a wagon remote(no boot button)
Ute (again no boot button)
Sedan (boot button although wagon and ute will work)

hope this helps

From previous post here AU series 1 update had smartshield but used the smartlock remotes. So in theory they may work but I cannot confirm.
