Ok my smartlock wont go into program mode mode. The interior light is off, air con is off, tried it on ACC key position and ON key position... no success. Ive cleaned and sanded the terminals on the switch... no success. Ive looked round and searched for answers on here but nothing.

The only thing i can think of is are there any wires for the demister switch down near the stereo harness? I may have cut something i shouldnt have when i installed my CD player but i dont think i did. Im just getting paranoid.

Failing that will unplugging the BEM and plugging it back in help?

Cheers,
Woody

is your demister light coming on in the dash?

you should have the key to the first click. then rear demister 3 times straight away! it can also take a few seconds to enter program mode so be patient

demister light is coming on so i assume the switch is fine. Ive waited a minute (an actual 60 sec) for it to activate but it gives me nothing.

Get in the car.
Close all Doors and wait 2 mins.
Insert Key
Turn to ACC
Press the Demist Button 3 times within 60 seconds of turning Key to ACC

Ignore the Demist light on the dashboard. If you do it correctly you Should turn on demist. Turn off demist. Then turn it back on.

Locks should cycle. if so program remotes then once finished turn car off and remove key. Wait for last cycle and your done.

Take it to your closest Ford dealership. Thats what I did with my ED when I needed a Smartlock keypad programmed into my Smartlock. I also had trouble like you are having but the bloke at Ford sorted it out quicksmart....And he did it for free.

Remove the Battery for a while. There could be a screw up.

HAHAHAHA! Ford... do something for free!!?? Surley you jest sir!

Will taking the battery off solve anything? Everytime i disconnect the battery the car has to learn how to run properly and it takes about 3 days. Ill give it a go anyway i spose. Ill try s**t in the fuel tank at this point (getting frustrated).

There is possably a fault in the BEM module.
Or even the demister switch. you cant be 100% with thease Bosh Immobiliser systems.

Try the cheep ways first.

When I remove my battery the car is fine after wards. But then it learns my nanna driving.....
