Hi all, has anybody used either of these products?
What sort of square footage is required for 4 doors, floor, boot, maybe even rear wheel arches in an EL?
I'd say these areas are the most effective way to make a quiet cabin?
thanks.

just guess it is like 8 > 9 mm thick, i am pretty sure it is a peel and stick type of application (from what i have seen of it) you roll it with a rubbery roller to get air and so fourth out....

from what i have been told and read about various chip foose stuff it isn't just a sound deadner stops heat and cold etc

but do you quailty or quanity, i read the ebay thing for the edead it claims to be thicker then dynamat but why is it cheaper? it is only 6 sqft smaller then dynamat...

if i had the money i would go dynamat but in this case would go with that edead sound cause it is cheaper.

ive got it in mine its actually pretty good its a thick foam and thats the basis of all sound proofing keeps alot of noise out of the cabin liek when i have a stero up i can't hear anything including horns lol

I chocked the rear of my car full of dynamat. Bought a box of the stuff just over $300. Have no boot rattles, nothing. Very happy, would definitely recommend. Also stopped a bit of road noise via the boot.

I didnt go to the extreme of ripping all carpet and chairs out and doing floor...but I imagine you would get a good result if you did.

i've talked to both suppliers off ebay, and they're both saying 2 boxes should be enough to do floor, doors, boot, rear wheel arches.
question is do i go $500 for the proven stuff or $250 for the other?
