Just wondering if my car will still drive properly without a cluster!! Reason I ask is, that i have found a place here in cairns that can swap my original odometer reading onto a fairmont cluster which I have ($150 for them to do it) but they need both clusters for about 3 hours. Now, the place is only about 2 kms down the road (yes, I could walk, but im lazy) so im wondering if I were to drive down there, pull out the cluster from the car, would I be able to drive home?

Should work OK (trip computer won't so you will have to work consumption figures out manually rather than being lazy :D ) , you could try it first if in doubt.

The no-cluster setup is the setup currently running in my xd ute lol. If it smells funny its overheating... my tip ;)

Car is manual, so I "think" it should shift out of first. Thanks for the replies ppl.
