does window tinting really make a difference looking from the inside looking out?

Oh yeah. You cant see into my car at night due to the tint its that dark. My mates Mirage has 5% and you can barely see out at night. f**k dangerous but f**k awesome.

No. The number is the amount of light let in expressed in a percentage. So the lower the number the less light it lets in.

So 15% less in 15% of the light and 35% lets in 35% of the light. So 15% is darker.
