had a problem with my ef xr6 trip computer, found the data line disconnected from the r.h.s of the dash. repaired the wire, and know my avg fuel and inst fuel consumption isnt working. i found a wire near the trip computer plug whichis green and yellow does ne1 know where that wire was meant 2 go???

um a pin out on the ecu, i have the same problem, look in the techo docs and its got the pinouts needed.

Hmm, no.. all the data required to calculate DTE/Consumption is from that blue data wire... nothing goes to the ECU, not since ED anyway.

thanx people all gd now it was a bad connection, and i also discovered u have 2 go 4 a drive so that they can begin to function if theyve been disconnected. but im still puzzled about the green and yellow wire which goes into the demister switch
