got my trip computer this week, tried putting it in tonight. no luck

i butchered up the elec. aerial switch plug as I dont have elec aerial, got the 4 little pin connecters out of the plug with some wire on each pin, but my question is, how do I get the pins into the trip plug and the dash cluster plugs? Cant figure it out and im crackin the s**t bad!

The pins will be too big. You need an instrument cluster plug or another clock plug for the donor pins.

you need the trip computer plug by the sounds of it you did what i did got the actual trip c and not the plug i had to go back to the wreckers and got charged 5 bucks for teh wires

Mate the GLi's dont have a loom for the trip computer. If you were installing the clock then it would just be a matter of plug and play.

the clock plug is the same as the trip plug, only the clock plug is short of 3 wires, lights, dimmer and data line. i had the 3 wires there and wanted to know how to slot them into the plug. Doesnt matter, figured it all out and works beautiful.

yeeah just add the 3 wires, its in the doco.
