Ive installed my trip computer once again and still the same problem.
Everything works great except when i turn my car off the trip computer dosnt dim :x ive tried about 3 times installing it now and evertime its the same thing it wont dim.

I have checked the doco and made sure every wire is in the right spot, but still nothing.

Anyone had similar problems or knows what might be the problem? and anyone know how i can fix it?

thanks bono

If it doesnt dim (ie the backlight go out) when that car is turned OFF, youve got the acc power (or is it ignition?) and 12v constant mixed up, when i put mine in (while FM was down a while back) i used a doco chicken sent to me, there was a wire labled wrong on it (pin number was wrong, but colour was right i think) i noticed it before i connected that wire, maybe thats your prob.
