I know I would have better luck trying to find a needle in a hay stack, but here goes anyway!
I am looking for the woodgrain dash and centre console trim/inserts to suit my Fairlane 1992 NCII Ghia. Correct me if I am wrong but I think they were standard for the DC LTD and an option for EB/ED Falcon/Faimont. I havn't tried to contact ford spares for new ones yet, but I am sure that I would have to fork out a fist full of cash, if they are available at all new!!!
Please send me a message if you know where I can get my hands on some. Willing to purchase individual items and build up my collection slowly if that's what it takes :!:

on ebay there are 1 dash part and 1 console part done in wood grain, any EB/ED mont Ghia has the wood grain door trims, but NC used different fabric, have a look at my gallery you will see NC 2 Ghia door trims and you will see the difference.

my are in mint nic but later on i think after xmass i will be putting in NL lane door trims in and selling my old ones not sure yet.

Thanks BuNtEr,

I have seen the two pieces on ebay, am actually winning one at the moment but that will probably change in the final mad minute of bidding!
Thanks for the referral to the website. That process of woodgraining existing pieces seems to be the way to go. Looks great in the photo's Eh!
I would definately have to pay more than $500 to buy all of the pieces on Ebay and they would be second hand??
I asked the same bloke who is selling the pieces on Ebay if he was willing to sell all the parts for the woodgrain set as a buy it now and he asked for $700. for just 3 pieces. Madness Eh!

BuNtEr,

I noticed that you are organising the ford meet at Munmorah in a couple of weeks. How is that all going? Do we have a definate location yet? My company looks after the electronic security systems for the Munmorah power station so let me know if I can be of assistance in organising to use part of their grounds/carparks etc.

Mick

yes all is going well so far we will have i think the best turnout thus far for this year, only thing is we need to have held is room for up to 20 cars, not saying we will have 20 cars but we will have a gazebo and that takes up almost 2 cars spots.

Also if we can get a good spot picked out, if you can get in touch with the people running it up your end and see what they can offer us, as we will have a good number of cars turning up.

as for the wood grain 700 lol he is wishing too much as a 5 piece set done is $475 all up to get done, so if he thinks he is going to make they kind of money well he better to by a EB and use em as he will not sell them for that.

My wood grain on the Tbar surround is stick on and so is the stereo surround is the same.

Oh by the way Nice lane dude looks very clean.

Thanks mate, I was lucky to pick her up when I did. The guy selling the NC worked for Klosters and has had her since new. It had been sitting in a mates garage for the past couple of years collecting dust and his wife made him sell it as they had no use for it. It was my lucky day when I found this one. It is in immaculate condition inside and out and once I fit my new mags this week she will be ready for the meet in two weeks.
Speaking of the meet, I will have a chat with the guys from the power station and see what I can organise. Did you already have a spot picked out you want me to ask about?

More than likely. I am also having LPG conversion done that week so it will be a good opportunity to give it a good run. I only work about 15-20 minutes from Munmorah so I will go for a drive and check it out during the week. I will send you an update.

Requested a quote from the dash board centre. They will do all of my dash and centre console pieces, including the coin pocket and power window switch plate for $445.00 + GST. Excellent value if you ask me. And the process looks amazing. Will probably get a better result than the factory originals. I am actually collecting 2nd hand stock trim off ebay so that I still have my original set as it is in immaculate condition ( appart from the previous owner screwing a mobile phone holder onto the shifter surround, d***head). Once I have collected the full trim set I will get it done. Will post before and after pics once it is finished.

Cheers fordebgt93,

I have been watching this for about a week and have already placed a couple of bids. Getting pretty high now though. About $190.00 last time I looked. They will probably go for around the $250-$300 mark. A little pricey for 2nd hand bits if you ask me. and it is not the complete set.

WOW. I was way off! The Woodgrain interior (2nd hand) which was out of an NC fairlane sold for $405.00. I had a budget of $250. Guess I will just save my pennies and get mine done in the Woodgrain (refer previous posts)
