I wouldn't do it personally - if you're after something a bit sportier...the EF and EL XR seats are good...if you want something more, you can rebolster them (or have them rebolstered) to hold you a little better...depends how far you want to go in the handling department I guess (if that's what you're goal is?) or is it jsut for looks ?

Also agree with others - they are damn uncomfortable after a while.

If you're real fussy...look at some of the HSV interiors - I know I'd nearly convert to a Holden after sitting in some of the 'lounge' like seats

i know what you mean there... i got to drive one of my friends' VX clubby R8 on friday night.... i never wanted to get out of it because it was so comfy lol

I love my racing seats. Their OMP (Italian ooo wow ) fia and adr compliant. They feel awesome nice and comfy, sit low, hold you in great (especially with the harness on) i wouldn't go back. definity not for the every day car though. And looks wise not everybody's cup of tea but i like them.

There is a photo in my gallery of them, the interior is allot different now but the seats are still in their.

I agree with what has been said - daily driver you want something comfortable - weekend warrior you want something that corners like it's on rails and goes like the clappers :P

If you've got a B series, source some FPV seats. The GT/F6 ones are ok, the GT-P/Super Pursuit ones are great, but possible snug if you're a big bloke.

would F6 seats be hard to find and how much would they cost?

the whole racing seat idea seems like its not a great choice aye if im not gunnna like them after a while due to comfort. the F6 or Gt seats might be a better option

Admittedly I was a skeptic Dave, but they are more comfortable than they look :)

I've got OBX you sit high but i have driven to Queensland in it and found them better than the year before when I did it in an XG XR when i did in that my back hurt like crap.
The other day I drove my mates GTP and found they sit just as high as my OBX seats but way like a loung chair gees was that fun from my place to Manly is it quick.
