if i were you i would scrap the ED, and get an EF. IMO EF's Are the only good looking 'modern' Falcons lol.

IMO ED's /Eb's are alround fugly. then again i might be biased, im not into falcons at all. I love my 68 Mustang and 70 Capri. But if you like the ED, it will look much better with the EF interior. Hope you have some luck getting the dash in!

Lol, my ED XR6 is my daily driver (also have a mk1 Escort project car, and dad has a mk2 Cortina) i want the EF/L dash cause they are soooo much better than the boxcar s**t and the EF/L interior to match the dash (also want a REAL handbrake)

So how hard exactly is it to 'physically' put the EF/EL dash in? does it bolt right up to where the ED one did?

you have to weld a bracket up on the floor for the ef-el dash to mount to afaik

Possibly not in this case, all that needs to be done to mount it in is to slightly modify the origional side dash mounts. The rest will bolt into place, and since yours is an ED i believe the centre dash mount is the same as the EF/EL's. If it is different tho you can simply choose to not use the centre dash mount, which is what i did in my EA.
