In my GLi can anyone tell me what wiring I will find up there in the roof?

Now obviously for the interior light there is a positive and negitive. Is the switch which is controlled by the BEM on the neg or pos wire? From what I've read it might be on the neg, which means I have to run another earth wire up there.
Being a GLi the interior light didn't come with Map lights, so will there be a constant positive wire up there that is unused or will i have to run one?

And where's the easiest way to run a wire up to about were the interior light is? Up the A-Pillar? How do i do that?

Reason why I'm asking is because I need to run a video cable for my screen up there. I also need a ignition power wire, constant and earth up there for the screen I guess (obviously the ignition power wire will also be connect to the handbrake thingo).
I'm also fitting an interior light with map lights at the same time probably (depending on weather the interior lights built into the screen unit are map or interioir), so I'll need an earth and constant for the map, and the trigger wire for the interioir light.

Positive and negative for the light. Unsure of the BEM light. Futuras have extra wires running to the rear reading lights.

you won't have a permanent +ve up there for the map lights - that is a slightly different loom on the ghia etc. Not hard to run one up though if you don't have it and want the map lights!

Even the Futura loom had map lights.

Lets us know how your screen goes.

Don't the GLi's and Futuras use the same wiring loom?
If so, since the Futuras had map lights, there should be map light wirirng up there unused on my GLi (constant power wire).

No they don't - otherwise all GLI's would be a piece of piss to wire up front power windows!!!
