regie is just envoius about my car & always wanted the front end & the front seats but he can (a) hunt for them or (b) dream about them as if I write my car off I'll definitaley buy a NC or a DC FAIRLANE GHIA & transfer the door trims aswell as the seats as I saw one going for less then 4K with a V8.

envious about your car?? haha

Juys, before cleaning anything and everything on your car - i'd have a read of this thread:

Matt (Aurora 98) is a professional detailer. Cant go wrong with his advice.

just wondering whats good to clean leather and keep it soft.
i got a eb ghia leather interior and its a little grubby.
i thought about cleaning it with nifty or something like that and rub baby oil in it... ive heard some stories about armoural where it has made leather crack.. ive been using it on my dash pad with no probs..what do you guys think...??????

dont use the normal Armourall, thats only for plastic, rubber & vinyl... u must use specified leather protectant...i use the Armourall Leather Protector....

What ever you do NEVER use ANY Silicon Based products on either vinyl or leather.

Combination of Silicon and UV, will sooner or later, dry up and crack the material. Especially if it is Vinyl.
Armourall is silicon based.
Any neutral coloured leather polish (KIWI etc.) would do fine.
Baby oil is also very good but make it look oily.

Yeah - Meguaris is the best, or this other one called Armor All - it is a foam cleaner, unlike a paste, it can be put on and wiped off and gives a gloss on your leater seats and door trims.

thanks guys
i have used armourall leather protectant it seems to work well.
but the top of the rear seat and head rests are still a little hard.
i have left the leather protectant on the top of the seats to soak in.
ill keep using it over a couple off days and see if it will soften up.. :) :)
