Are you planing to get a new cd player or just after a tally.

Anway I put down jvc as I've been extremely happy with mine, and frankly I'd say pioneer if it wasn't for the whole aerial deal.

Just curious why didn't you mention companies like alpine etc.

Well most pioneers have an antenna/amp trigger wire as a single wire so antenna up whenever it's on, cd radio, whatever. Just a minor niggle thing that s**t me off.

Alpine ... I love my 9887 :P

Eclipse is another really good brand that you have missed in the survey

Who voted sony?

And yes, the pioneer aerial issue pisses me off so much that I'm making a manual aerial switch.

pioneer or kenwood for me...
good quality for the price. and have never had any issues with pioneer or kenwood products..

on the other hand had a sony explode unit with splits and x overs and tweeters died after 3 months and the head unit was the biggest piece of crap...
sony products are usually good but im not liking there car audio stuff..

Another one for Alpine :D Ive been using Alpine gear since way back when i had my XF i had the same head unit for over 5 years (have now since upgraded) and it still works haha!

My second choice for a head unit would be Pioneer or Ecpilse thou.
