i doubt its a taxi. Is it on LPG? Any drilled holes in the dash? Sticker marks in the paint?

they did not come from the factory with drill holes or sticker marks

since its not on gas, there is a 99.9% chance it wasn't a taxi

can't say i've seen too many around, just the odd one or two now and then. I've seen more BA colum shifters than ef/els myself.

ive driven a blue ef I6 with the column shift and the foot handbrake... is a bit different! ... not in a bad way just...........different... had the buckets though.. no benchseat... just about 98.5% of all taxis are Lpg... so mayby it was a falcon "optioned" with those "options".. and as for taxis being white... is the sun hot? sydney taxis are pretty much all white if not for the "silver service taxis"....

It could have been an ex-council car, our Au wagon is bench+columnshift/footbrake.
