define "fit"

1:a straight bolt in job with no more work than changing the plugs?

hahaha keep dreaming

2: a LOT of custom work to get it to fit, then changing all the plugs?

hahaha if you're lucky

3: an absoloute s**t of custom work equivalent to transplanting the entire drivers side of a BA dash, as well as the ICC and all the electronic s**t

most probably.....

comes from having people ask how much a "basic" stero for a car will cost.....

depends on your idea of basic..... $200 for a sound 4 HU, crappy 4" speakers and nothing else, or $20k for a nice HU, splits, rear fill, a pair of subs and 2 amps....

big job, do you have a BA doner car? possibly be able to by swapping a s**t load of the internal wiring etc... when it comes down to it - both cars are just shells with different bits inside. If you had the time and a complete BA to rip apart I think it could be done.

the BA Cluster is a computer on the CAN BUS network the BA uses for module communication, and it gets all its inputs from the can bus, so in order for it to work u'd need the ECU etc out of the BA, which neccesitates engine, gearbox and dash swap as well...
