I want to put a lighter socket in my boot and i was thinking of cutting a hole in the jack cover and putting it there. what do people think?

not the jack cover, it would be a pain in the a***, when u gotta get to the jack, unless u wanna make a custom bracket and stick it under the parcel shelf

I've got mine under the parcel shelf. Exisiting stereo power cabling made it easy to hook up, and always on (not switched to the accessories).
