My old falcon has a Landi 80se converter fitted to it, last week the car started backfireing some thing bad, ( blew the bottom out of the muffler) I thought it was some thing to do with the gas unit. so i had a fiddle with the converter didn't fix the problem. turns out it was the modual on the distrubitor, now i have to try to retune the gas, I think i have the gist of how to do it following earlier post instructions BUT with mine(CFI)the hose from the converter that goes to the CFI (inlet-carby?) has a cast alloy divider with a large screw in the center and the two hoses go to either side od the inlet body, this has not been mentioned in any of the posts I've read, Question: what is it called. what dose it do, and how to tune it ?
