Hey guys, about to do the first decent mod to my car.

My mate's given me a BBM setup that I want to install on my ED.
Problem is I have no idea where to mount the LPG mixer?

My LPG setup is an Elko mixer system (Impco copy).

I saw a dude on here mount it near his pod filter but I'd rather have it as close to the TB as possible. I also took a peak at my mates sprint gas mixer setup on his EF and it looks as though the LPG line form the converter feeds straight into the TB.

I've done my research and it looks fairly straight forward. My mate is also offering to help however he is also clueless on the mixer.

Anyone in the know how? I've actually had the parts for a little while and this is the only thing that's stopping me.

I also assume when I refit the mixer I'll have to get it approved by a mechanic?

Intake, manifold/TB/ISC whole thing, injectors/reg, airbox, dipstick, acc cable and the solenoid.

According to the tutorial I still need a top radiator hose which is nothing.
It doesn't mention an ECU though? Do I need an EL one. I plan to get one down the track anyway.

I've researched it a fair bit however I'm at a loss on what to do with the mixer.

Sorry. It's an Elko setup.

Apparently there's barely any difference to impco as they're meant to be an Impco copy (From what I was told).

whats the mixer like?

is it a ring or similar to impco 200 mixer?

if its a ring u can use EF or EL tickford (vialle) rubber elbow that has the ring moulded into it...

if its impco style u will need extra ducting and its more complicated

Sorry about the late reply mate.

Mixer is a woodward (Has 4561915 on it).
That's all I can see on it without removing the mixer.

Converter is a L.G. Motor gas B2 converter.
