playing it safe is always good, but from what I've seen this system has got everything coverd remember this system has been made for the average driver with no mechanical knowlege so all of the dumb things that can & will happen have been simulated & tested, the pumps are a 200lph fuel pump with ceramic bearings which you can buy from the USA & yeh there not cheap..

I asked PLENTY of questions when I was provided with a guided tour of Orbital headquarters in Perth. One of them was a question about the design of the pump. Earlier incarnations of the Vialle LPI system used AC pumps in the tank (I believe the European systems still have these) with no low level protection but the Australian systems use a DC pump that does have low level protection. All I can say is that the FG Falcon E-GAS II engine will be one impressive piece of kit.

Do u guyz think that think the knew FG with E GAS engine would be the standard engine that there all getting or it should be similar to surrent E GAS??? eg with stronger rods and more comp???
I like this Orbital kit but im liking the JTG kit more for the exact Pro reasons that PoweredByCNG has already stated. Is there anyone that can provide pictures of where the injectors go into the manifold???

From what I've been able to gather, the new E-GAS engine will be the same as the existing petrol engine, but with no petrol components except for the ECU. The JTG system has injectors mounted in a similar fashion to gas-phase injectors from other systems. A rubber hose runs from the outlet of each injector into a nozzle drilled into the intake runners adjacent to the corresponding petrol injector.

Here's a few pics I took today of my Orbital LI system. It's really tucked away under the engine, it's quite incredible. Loving it so far! The LPG pump is barely noticeable, and the responsiveness and power is slightly better than petrol, which I think is an incredible feat!

Looks very similar to my install. When you go for your first service, ask the techs to tidy up the wiring loom for you so that it looks like mine.
The Vialle LED guage is a thing of beauty compared to basically all other aftermarket gauges I've ever come across!

Yeah, I don't mind the guage at all, and the location is good so it doesn't get too distracting. Just wondering, where exactly did you notice the wiring loom not being so tidy? I will need to know what I'm talking about when I try to point it out

I went for a semi-country trip from Perth to Northam (108km) through hilly country, having travelled about 20 city km beforehand. Came back to Perth with 248km on the clock, factored in 8km distance travelled on petrol, and I used 28L for 240km. Took it easy most of the way but floored it on one overtaking lane to see how it went. I think it would normally achieve around 11.5L/100km then. Were it on petrol it'd probably achieve 9.0L/100 over the same distance.
